Your trolley departs for a true southern treat, a private luncheon and afternoon in the heart of the historic district at the Metts-McNeal Mansion overlooking our beautiful Forsyth Park. We begin with Mint Juleps on the veranda so that you can take in the spectacular views of the park. If one has never experienced a mint julep, one has never fully experience the south. So let us introduce you to the culture of the south. As we continue, lunch will be served, allowing you to savor a traditional southern meal with all the trimmings. You will be able to sample the favorite recipes of our famous Mrs. Wilkes like fried chicken, homemade biscuits and cornbread, collard greens, sweet potatoes, okra, macaroni and cheese and the list could go on and on. This will truly be an afternoon to speak of for many years. We will also be introduced and entertained by Mandy Nichols from "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." Before returning to your hotel, your hostess and guide for the day will make sure you have been oriented with our beautiful belle Savannah.
